I love this video! I have learned over the years of being an entrepreneur that a large part of success has to do with your self talk. What are you telling yourself on a daily basis? Do you replay your past successes or failures in your mind?

When I first started to understand personal development and positive thinking, my thoughts were a mess! I remember Orrin Woodward saying from stage, “what if we recorded your thoughts for the last three hours and played them up here on stage?” This was the first time I began to listen to my self talk, that was interesting! If someone else would say the things I say to myself on a daily basis I would punch them in the nose!

Here is the wonderful truth about your self talk, it is completely under your control. In the book Magic of Thinking Big the author uses this example: you have two people working in your head Mr. Triumphant and Mr. Defeat. They are both tireless workers and respond at the speed of thought. If you think a positive thought, Mr. Triumphant gets to work finding every past success to convince you that you can win. However if you think negative thoughts, Mr. Defeat gets hard at work digging up past failures to justify you not being able to succeed. Henry Ford was quoted as saying “if you think you can you can and if you think you can’t you can’t, either way you are right.”

This is such an important lesson to learn, are you feeding Mr. Triumphant or Mr. Defeat? It is up to you. What story are you telling yourself? You have the power to write your own story and get Mr. Triumphant working hard to create success in your life!

As you watch this video listen for the positive self talk the coach is giving to the players. He is speaking directly to Mr. Triumphant and calling out the champion inside.

Each of us have a Champion inside waiting to get out and win! Call out your inner champion with proper self talk and become your best.

Pursue your purpose in LIFE!

God bless,

Dan Hawkins

I AM A CHAMPION!

I will conquer what has not been conquered.
Defeat will not be in my creed.
I will believe what others have doubted.
I will always endeavor to uphold the prestige, honor and respect of my team
I have trained my mind and my body will follow.

Who am I? I AM A CHAMPION!

I will acknowledge the fact that my opponents do not expect me to win.
But I will never surrender.
Weakness will not be in my heart.
I will look to my comrades, and to those who brought me into this world, and those who train me and I will draw strength from that.

Who am I? I AM A CHAMPION!

I will gladly go off to the field of battle. I will move, move and everything I can do and I will reach my field of battle at any means at my disposal. And when I get there I will arrI’ve violently. I will rip the heart from my enemy and leave it bleeding on the ground. Because he cannot stop me.

Who am I? I AM A CHAMPION!

To my side I have comrades, comrades that will be with me through thick and thin.
Through sacrifice, through blood, through sweat, through tears.
Never will I let them fall; never will I let them down.
And I will never leave an enemy behind, because our opponent does not know my heart.

Who am I? I AM A CHAMPION!

No one will deny me, no one will defy me, and no one will tell me who and what I am, and can be.
Belief will change my world. It has moved continents, it has moved countries, it has put man on the moon, and it will carry me through this battle.

Who am I? I AM A CHAMPION!

Defeat, retreat, those are not in my words, I don’t understand those definitions.
I don’t understand when things go wrong. I don’t understand mistakes. But I do understand this, I understand victory and I understand never surrendering.
No matter how bad things go, my heart and my mind will carry my body when my limbs are too weak.

Who am I? I AM A CHAMPION!

Today will be that day, not tomorrow, not next week, but right now right here, in your house and in your home.

Who am I? I AM A CHAMPION!

History will remember me. I will not have to worry about him being kind. I will define myself, I will write my own pages. And no one will tell me what I can and cannot be.
I will never go wrong, not as long as I’ve gI’ven everything I’ve got.

Because who am I? I AM A CHAMPION! “
