Hey everyone, we wanted to share this recognition from Richard and Jammie Fisher. The information that the LIFE Founders have packed into the Mental Fitness Challenge is LIFE changing. We love to see couples who go out and implement this information in their lives, prove the value by application, and than go out and help others do the same.

Lisa and I remember getting Brian and Amy started, and watching them apply this information over the years. They have been through many ups and downs in business and life, but like the saying goes, “when the going gets tough the tough get going.” When this family hits obstacles, instead of pointing fingers and having a pity party, they take personal responsibly and make the changes necessary to grow!

Thank you Brian and Amy for being great examples for everyone around you. Keep learning, growing and leading; you are making a difference!

New Turbo 25 on LIFE Team

Brian and Amy Christian came into the information LIFE offers with two children, a mortgage, a home improvement loan, a car payment, a truck payment, a camper payment, and a Great Dane. They both came from bigger families and were told to get good grades, graduate college, and get a good job and you will be great! They had a good marriage, but were not able to spend time together due to their careers and everything else they juggled. Brian has worked for a water conditioning company for over 20 years, since he was a teenager. He found his passion working as a paid on call firefighter. He served on boards for the department and was a firefighter of the year. Amy worked with delinquent youth and individuals with disabilities to help them obtain employment. She served on many community committees, local chambers of commerce and was a big sister for Big Brothers/Big Sisters. Amy was openly looking for another way of life! Daily she would cry going to work after dropping off her kids at daycare. Amy was contacted by an old coworker and Dan and Lisa Hawkins showed her this idea. She jumped at it! Brian was not as excited, but wanted to support her.

They said the impact the LIFE business has had on their family is beyond measure. Every single part of their lives has been touched by this information. They continue to grow everyday in their faith, marriage, relationships and parenting.   They are down a home improvement loan, a car payment, a truck payment, a camper payment, and a Great Dane, and have added a 7-year-old Labrador.  Amy is home schooling their children and they have lunch with Brian everyday.

Their son Nash states, “The biggest rewards from LIFE are that his Dad and Mom are working together to help other people.  Even though they have to leave us with a babysitter sometimes; it is worth it!” He feels having Mom at home and home schooling are the best. Nash love to write the names of the people that we are helping up on our patio door.

Maren, their daughter, thinks that the biggest blessing is Jesus Christ in their lives. She loves that her family all worked together to hit their goal. She liked calling her Dad and telling him each person they helped get this information on the way toward hitting their goal.

Amy said, “As a family we talked about our goal everyday and what the schedule was, so that we all knew what our roles. Once you get principle-based thinking in your head and in your family culture, the family unit becomes so strong.”

Brian and Amy feel it is their calling to bring back strong families to our nation.  We see them constantly growing, serving their team, their community and individuals who they know in whatever areas that they can.  Their family had a goal to hit in order to a hotel and indoor water park, and they did it!  The faith and perseverance to run together no matter how long or what it took to hit this goal tells us that this family is on track to live out their calling and lead many others to do the same.  At a time when our nation needs it most and in a situation where they could have chosen to leave well enough alone, the Christians chose to stand up and lead.  We are thankful for their example and achievements, and excited for what is to come.

Warren Bennis – Six Attributes of Leaders

Warren Bennis, noted leadership expert, writes on the six key attributes of leaders. Here are the six leadership attributes:

Integrity

Integrity means alignment of words and actions with inner values.

It means sticking to these values even when an alternative path may be easier or more advantageous. A leader with integrity can be trusted and will be admired for sticking to strong values. They also act as a powerful model for people to copy, thus building an entire organization with powerful and effective cultural values.

Dedication

Dedication means spending whatever time and energy on a task is required to get the job done, rather than giving it whatever time you have available. The work of most leadership positions is not something to do ‘if time’. It means giving your whole self to the task, dedicating yourself to success and to leading others with you.

Magnanimity

A magnanimous person gives credit where it is due. It also means being gracious in defeat and allowing others who are defeated to retain their dignity. Magnanimity in leadership includes crediting the people with success and accepting personal responsibility for failures.

Humility

Humility is the opposite of arrogance and narcissism. It means recognizing that you are not inherently superior to others and consequently that they are not inferior to you. It does not mean diminishing yourself, nor does it mean exalting yourself. Humble leaders do not debase themselves, neither falsely nor due to low self-esteem. They simply recognize all people as equal in value and know that their position does not make them a god.

Openness

Openness means being able to listen to ideas that are outside one’s current mental models, being able to suspend judgement until after one has heard someone else’s ideas. An open leader listens to their people without trying to shut them down early, which at least demonstrates care and builds trust. Openness also treats other ideas as potentially better than one’s own ideas. In the uncertain world of new territory, being able to openly consider alternatives is an important skill.

Creativity

Creativity means thinking differently, being able to get outside the box and take a new and different viewpoint on things. For a leader to be able to see a new future towards which they will lead their followers, creativity provides the ability to think differently and see things that others have not seen, and thus giving reason for followers to follow.

I had to share this video and my thoughts from one of my closest friends Steve Leurquin. I was doing my daily reading when I came upon his latest post on friendship and wanted to share another perspective on the same video. Please read Steve’s article as mine will be tied in to his!

In a world where negative and skepticism is king how do people find the courage to bring out their greatness? I love this video because it explains how it is still possible to live your dreams and become a hero. How many people like Jonathan have greatness within but lack the friend and the stage to bring it out!

The LIFE Community is on a quest to offer both! In Orrin Woodward’s book Resolved 13 Resolutions for Life he teaches the principles of friendship. Leaders in LIFE on the move!

Wow, LIFE is exploding! We have some more recognition to give out today to a couple that is building the-life-business right!

Dave and Leah Stadel have moved on to the Turbo 50 level using the-team.biz training system, and are at the Leader level in the life compensation plan! Life Compensation Plan

When the LIFE company was established, one of the primary goals of its founders was to accomplish something in the area of compensation that hadn’t been done before. The heart behind this was to offer financial rewards that would truly be based upon performance.  But there was more.  It was also desired to put a heavy emphasis on revenue sharing with the field – this is “corporate speak” for not letting the company keep most of the profits.  While many (but certainly not all!) pay plans appear to be at least somewhat fair in terms of how the money is split amongst participants in the field, what often is NOT fair is how much money finds it way back to the corporation. The result is a subtle but real conflict of interest between the company and its field operators.  Therefore, right off the bat, LIFE designed its financial plan in such a way that most of its profits flow to the people who are actually doing the work to make the revenue happen in the first place. Right out of the gate, the percentage of gross revenue paid back to the field in commissions was structured to be in the (estimated) 65+% range.  This, as far as we know, is an industry high. Then, after just two months in business, LIFE announced its One Time Cash Award program, which put even more money into the field. It is still too soon to know the exact figures (as some of the qualification periods for these rewards don’t end until the end of 2012), but we believe this will put the percentage at something approaching 70%.

How can this be done? How can a group of founders establish a company on such lean terms? The answer comes from the strong belief that the best leadership for this type of company can be provided by those who are actually doing what they are teaching and expecting others to do.  THIS, as far as we know, has never been done before: corporate founders who deliberately establish the financial incentives in such a way as to keep themselves in the game, out in the trenches, and thereby providing the means by which most of the profits flow to the field.

And now there’s more.  On April 27th, at the Spring Leadership Convention in Columbus, Ohio, LIFE will announce  an additional incentive program representing even more new money being put into the compensation program. This will be a reward package that will be attractive to new participants and attainable early in their experience with the business – in other words, something they can qualify for in the near-term, not “someday.”

All of this, in the LIFE compensation plan, is in addition to LIFE’s groundbreaking position between the four industries of Personal Development, Home-based Businesses, Life coaching, and Community building, and takes advantage of LIFE’s high-value position in the market of personal development materials, wherein its products are among the lowest priced in the marketplace (in some cases hundreds of percent cheaper than its competition).  And, don’t forget, all of LIFE’s products are backed with a 30 day money back guarantee.

Steve and Kelli Sager are moving on in LIFE using the-team.biz system!  This couple was highlighted on my blog just a few months ago for hitting turbo 25, now they have just achieved the turbo 50 level!(Two groups of people of at least 50 each attending a monthly seminar) More than doubling their numbers in a couple month period and helping many other go turbo 10 in the process. LIFE Success Story

Steve and Kelli Sager were introduced to LIFE several years ago and were skeptical. Although they didn’t know it, they were not skeptical to whatLIFE offered them, they were unhappy“living the dream” and having no results to show for it. Working hard their whole lives, Steve as a police officer and Kelli a factory worker, they were hounded with debt, time starved, and relationship stressed and were feeling there had to be more to life.

Looking for a better way to make ends meet Steve started to explore other options like going into real estate. During that same time he was introduced to Life-Team through a friend, meeting Gary Severson and although skeptical, the information spoke too much truth. “I was tired of hitting my head against a brick and found this was a good way to stop the pain” Steve said.

In a world were many are complaining about their situations but not willing to do anything about it, we solute Steve and Kelli for creating a path for others to follow. Rather than living a life of existence, they are now living a life of purpose.
